Production of Herbert Fritsch is almost comedy. Costumes of Victoria Behr are generally used bright colors. So the impression of stage is non-serious, but attractive because of the circus (7 persons) and Samiel (devil). I think the production is excellent.
Every soloist and ensemble members are generally excellent. Especially, Benjamin Bruns (Max), Christof Fischesser (Kaspar), Yannick Debus (Kilian), Florian Anderer (Samiel), and most most Lydia Teuscher (Ännchen).
Florian Anderer (Samiel) is engaging devil (kawaii as Japanese), not only characteristic song but also dancing, flying to the sky and climbing the wall (assisted by lifeline device. His Samiel is one of the key elements that led the ’Der Freischütz’ to success.
Lydia Teuscher (Ännchen) is most successful of the singers. Her basis is beautiful voice with excellent agilita but also characteristic funny voice. Lydia is the greatest.
Direttore d'orchestra is Axel Kober, his sound composition supports excellently singers.
